Installation tips

Clean and degrease the lower panels first. Mark a straight line along the body crease with masking tape, wet the surface, then slide each stripe into place and squeegee from the centre outwards. Leave the transfer tape on for a few minutes before peeling it back slowly at a sharp angle.

Installation

Most of our products are easy enough for a beginner to install and are packaged with installation guide.

Customer photo review of VW Transporter Blackout Window Decal – T5 T6 T6.1 Multivan Compatible

Very disappointed with the result; the glossy black doesn't look good. I’d describe it as crude. It’s nothing like the previous stickers I ordered from you—even though those were also glossy black. Consequently, it looks really ugly on the van next to the old stickers.

VW Transporter Blackout Window Decal – T5 T6 T6.1 Multivan Compatible

Store owner replied: The two products are made from different materials. Your previous order was produced using wrap vinyl, which has a much deeper, glossy, almost mirror-like black finish. The panel decals are made from standard automotive vinyl, so although the colour is also listed as glossy black, the surface and level of gloss are different. Unfortunately, when the two materials are installed next to each other, that difference can be quite noticeable.
